Bus from Port Elizabeth to Cape Town: Tickets & Schedules

Bus arrived 2 hours later,it was too slow and no communication from the drivers,we arrived 4 hours past the actual time of arrival. I’m very disappointed

The bus delayed for 2 hours and 15 minutes. Communication was sent for a 1 hour and 45 minute delay and even that communication was only sent at 19:50, it could’ve been communicated earlier, the late communication was a major inconvenience and it was false as the delay was longer. Furthermore, the bus was dirty and packed whereas when booking it did not specify that the bus is not starting in P.E. The overhead compartments are ridiculously small and I was told they would be big enough to fit my bags so I did not weigh them to be put in the underneath luggage compartments so I had to sit with this bags with me in those tine seats for all those travel hours from Port Elizabeth to Cape Town.

The bus arrived on time. We had no problem boarding only problem was that the toilet was stinking after people used it but the driver came to spray it. Still the urine smell was bad

Clean bus, very spacious, great service from the drivers and we made it on time to our destination.

It was not cold at night and driver checks up on passengers frequently while driving safely

The trip was going fine until we reached Knysna were someone throw a stone and broke the back window, we had to wait somewhere there for the whole 2 hours without any explanation from the driver we had to ask him why are we waiting then He explained that we waiting for a mechanic He only brought the cupboards to close the whole on the window and i don’t know why it took so long

Very bad The bus was delayed by 4 hours no communication, water was leaking inside the bus.

Well although we arrived an hour early which was good but the hygiene of the bus was really disgusting there was cockroaches everywhere which the bus company needs to take into consideration

Drop off was 3 hours late in Cape Town. This caused huge cost from my side by missing my appointments. Not Intercity's fault but toilet overflowed and entire bathroom covered in human waste.

The ride was extremely unpleasant. The drivers are beyond rude, the bus is infested with cockroaches.

Bus 2 hrs late and no explanation. Very old model bus Very Very compact inside legs folded for the entire trip Very Very uncomfortable to sit onside. The bus inside was made for children not adults. Definitely I will never book this company again.

So first off, amp is pretty cost effective, which is great. But here’s the thing, the bus was one hour and didnt send out a notification to say that they are delayed. But they did make up for it by being on time despite the delay, which was impressive. But the biggest problem that I have is that there were multiple small cockroaches on the seats and floor of the bus. It was incredibly disgusting, no matter how quick my ride was, I have to take into account that it is unacceptable for a bus to have cockroaches

First all the bus very late with two hours and without informing us about delay...

This was the worse service I ever had. The bus was late by more than an hour and departed after two hours. There was a lot of commotion in the bus with people having to stand in the passage due to over booking. I have decided not to ride with the bus again.

This was the worst bus trip of my life and I take a lot of bus rides. It was over packed. It was dirty. It stunk of urine! We felt like sardines. And it was 2 hours late. There was supposed to be charging ports but there weren't. The absolute worst!

The bus came early to my departure location and when I arrived it was already gone we phoned 19:36 they said it was already in N2 .We tried to catch it in the next stop 19:55 they said it was approaching Jeffreysbay so my money was gone down the drain I will never book Williams again

The bus delayed at Port Elizabeth station and no one bothered to inform us passangers what is the cause of that, the bus had cockroaches as if it was not fumigated before also I had to pay for my second bag offwhich I could'nt understand cz my two bags were not heavy at all and the luggage was not weighed to see I have not exceeded the desired weight for each passanger I am not happy at all

The trip was generally good. However, a few USB ports were not working, which was disappointing as reliable USB access is one of the reasons people choose your coaches. This time, unfortunately, they didn’t meet expectations. Additionally, I’d like to suggest the following improvements: Driver Communication: Please ensure drivers are mindful when speaking to passengers. Some customers only understand English and may not follow conversations in Xhosa. Temperature Control: The bus was too warm. It would be helpful if the driver could adjust the heater more appropriately especially when the coach is in full capacity.

I'm very disappointed on greyhound it did not arrive on time on port elizabeth it arrived after 4 hrs and we went back to to take other people who we stuck and we were using another bus i was late for my appointment at cape town that means i waisted money bad service with greyhound

Quick routes not many stops which is a plus 👌

The bus was very late at the pick up point without any proper communication

God I wll never take ilula bus even if it’s the last company on earth I wll prefer walking to eastern cape

Buscame to the station 2 hours late and no sms or anything to apologize for that, secondly the speed the driver took everyone was crying on the bus till my sister went to complain with few people who got sick of what he was doing but nothing has changed we just happy we made it out, bear in mind were still in shock of the DMJ bus now this yhoo totally dissapointed

The bus didn't arrive had to sleep at the bus station with a 3 month old baby
