Bus from Cape Town to Johannesburg: Tickets & Schedules

I really enjoy and we arrive early on time lyk everything was perfect intercape is the best

First the bus arrived late in Cape Town Station at 20pm instead of 19pm. Arrived late in Johannesburg at 15:30pm instead of 13:30pm…the rest was fine

Bus broke down and it took 8 good hours to find solution. Unexpected to such big company like Intercape

Drivers and staff were very good ,but atleast we need someone who can check what is going on at the back because they was people who were smoking and drinking so it affects another passenger who was sitting next to me was asthmatic.

The bus was very clean and fresh. Not to mention the comfort seat and nice drivers. I just enjoyed my journey

Everything was awesome, drivers of greyhound is very calm & respect, bus is in good condition.only thing I noticed when fan is opened in the middle night, cockroach were coming out between windows & the wall of the bus with big numbers try to fix that urgently plz

There is nothing that I enjoyed about the ride,the bus was late,we traveled almost 24hrs just going to Johannesburg

We got switched to intercity express and it was a very satisfying trip from cape town..thankyou

I did not enjoy their service is very poor the bus where not in a good condition Im so disappointed and dissatisfied

Not satisfying it has many stop and righ now my traveling bag is back to cape town bcs misplace my bag to another bus going to Umthatha my self i was going to Johannesburg

The only thing I commend would be the charging points on the bus but what was disappointing was that the bus was scheduled to depart at 13:00 and arrive 08:55 and it only arrived at 15:30

I was not updated about delays and cancellations. I spent 2 hours + on my feet in the boarding que. I am still not in JHB. According to my ticket I was supposed to board at 14:30 I was seated at 18:27 No communication. Ground personnel and Drivers are awesome.

I booked a bus a bus for the 11th of January monday when we were already at the bus station they told us that the bus is canceled we should come the following day, now when we there they told us to pay R150 for 1 suitcase Such a poor service

Bad service booked a bus for a 3 January they postponed to 4th on the road bus stucked more than 3 times we had to keep on changing busses poor maintained bus

They travel very well and they've done the time it's just not happy for waiting for almost 3 hours at Bus station

I enjoyed my trip so much the drivers were nice and the bus is comfortable and clean I highly recommend people to use intercity express

I really enjo My trip to JHB and it was my first time using the bus and it was a great experience

There was this terrible sound that was very annoying.. Not sure if it's speed restriction alarm but it was horrible right through the night.

Atlantic buses company are crooks. Very disorganised, not easy to communicate to them when in need. They did not tell me or ask me if it would be okay by me if they organised another bus for. After being at the station for almost 30 minutes, only then I got another alternative. Very poor service I must say. I’m very sad that I bought a return ticket and it’s non refundable otherwise I wanted to organise another bus.

Terrible. We changed buses in the middle of nowhere. The second bus had little space and some passengers were forced to stay standing whilst the bus continued. We were also forced to sit amongst luggage in the seating area

The time for picking up was late ,halfway they exchange the bus ..we got to Joburg by 12pm

Staff very unprofessional, I couldn't enjoy anything about the trip since we were supposed to departure at 6pm and only departed 1am next morning.

Didn't enjoy the trip.. first the bus came 1 hour late and made several other stops on empty roadsides.. we arrived 5 hours late. It's a never for me.

They came late my bus was on 16:00 but we took the bus around 19:30 plus the bus we had cockroaches

I'm very disappointed, I booked a bus that was supposed to depart@ 4:10 pm from CT to JHB but we ended up leaving after 19h30 pm, I missed the bus from tfrom Jhb to my destination 😭😭😭

It’s nice got toilet inside and the drivers are patient but it didn’t get in time as it says but enjoyed comfort seat

They was fast but the seat was not comfortable and the toilet was smelling out all over from Cape Town to jobourg

I enjoyed the fact that I was able to lay my chair down and relax . And the fact that big sky is punctual . There’s absolutely nothing I did not like

There was no bus from Cape Town to Johannesburg, attempts to contact Hope Diamond was unsuccessful, phone rang without being answered and had to purchase another ticket from a different company. They only answered the phone 30 min later after the boarding time of 13h00 and was informed Buhle will call me back; no call was received. Upon arrival at Johannesburg was told to wait for a sale of the day. I will never book Hope Diamond Transport even if their ticket is R1.00 !

Bus was supposed to leave at 18H30 and turned up at 20H00. 5 hrs later it was over heating. Had to hike from Lansburg to Bloem. Dreadful service

The bus stucked at beufortwest on the 22 december 2023 we waited 4 hours machan came and fix the bus they manage to drive 3km and it stucked on open veld we had no water and we waited on other 5hours before the rescue bus arrive finally it came. So it was poor service from 21 December 2023 and we arrive 23 December 2023

I did not enjoy from the very beginning they changed a bus and waiting time and the arrival time

It was honestly awful, there were about 4/5 hours late. A woman got punched in the face for enquiring about it!

The fact that it’s communicated that the bus will pick us up at a certain stop, at a certain time. When we arrived at the spot, we were told that there is no busses that picks anyone up. We had to run around to find out where the bus stops, all contact numbers does not work at all… then there is the times communicated, the time communicated on the ticket states 2:15pm, only to find out that the bus would arrive at a total different pick up at 4-5 hours later! What a disappointment.

Worst trip ever, bus was delayed by nearly 2 hours. We were then charged money for our luggage even though our weight did not exceed 20kg p/p. Bus pulled over at some bush along the road and one of the passengers got bit by a snake wanting to relieve herself because the Bus toilet was locked all the way. The aircon wasn't working. One of the passengers got robbed with her bag and money because the driver refused to drop us off at park station. Guys please, under no circumstances take an illulabus!!! The worst ever.
