Bus from Harare to Johannesburg: Tickets & Schedules

Enjoyed the good speeds and arrival time, few stops, and the bus is very comfortable, however we delayed to leave Zimbabwe which could have been communicated earlier.

Bus was filthy not value for money, seats bad quality, not enough leg room. It was really the dirt that bothered me. There were quite a number of flies too due to the dirt I suppose. Because crew was not that bad but could maybe speak up when giving announcements.

The quality of service is totally different even condition of the bus is something else

Wht was the first reg flag was we are taking our bus at George silundika imperial lane we had to walk to go there with out bags carrying our kids upon arrival finding unbranded white couch nt the imperial lane luxury couch l have booked been told our bus it stuck at the border we shld use this one instead of us being delayed waiting for a bus so we will exchanged once arriving at beitbridge border and tt temporarily bus was nt moving upon arrival at beitbridge after joining the que when we almost at the entrance to enter the beitbridge border post they telling us our bus does have permit so we shld wait for our bus cmng frm SA tht was around 1pm did we not wait until 9am to exchange the bus while kids were already frustrated crying and hungry we only had to ppppppproceed around 11 to join the que again resulting in arriving around 1am on Wed morning l feellike my 1200×3 was really wasted and did nt enjoy the trip at all wish they will do better next time as they lost a customer l will never use their buses again and am nt the only uncertified certain nt happy with their services

The worst ever.no communication from the staff on the breakdown we ecncountered

1st the bus was to leharare at 12:30 but only left at 16:00 coz the keys were misplaced and came back to SA

The bus had many stops, the bus left Joburg at 11am , we arrived at the border 8pm. The drivers and the bus agent was not considerate that Monday is a business day.

It was horrible, I booked the ticket for the 9th of January at 16h00. I arrived early but the bus never came and was supposedly full from the other station and couldn't go home. Never booking with them again.

The swift coordination of conductors and drivers the boarder passport movement was very fast well organized no delays I would love to travel again with this bus however wifi and snacks were not given didn’t see to luxurious benefit there

I had the worst experience of going to the bus station to be told that the bus had already left even though i had arrived more than an hour before the scheduled departure time. I then tried calling the bus company but none of their numbers was going through.

I was referred to Swiss Express. Their online booking system made life so simple because it is user friendly. Their staff was polite and courteous, I could not believe it. They really pulled out all the bells and whistle during the long trip from Zim to SA. They managed to navigate the border processes skillfully. I would recommend this coach service to anyone desiring a drama free bus experience.

I was booked to depart at 1300hrs and expected to arrive by 10am. Unfortunately as I'm writing this I'm still on the road. We left at 7pm in a hired Intercity Bus excuses where given but no compensation for some of us who had commitments in Joburg and others who had to connect to other cities. Since we left border we haven't stopped for recess and we we are hungry and some have to take medication like myself. All this hiring of a bus company that I knew existed but was not my choice is disrespect of my choice of choosing Swiss. Please get back to me. If I had missed my booking your where going to charge me for defaulting my ticket. I guess we as Swiss customers deserve a compensation and an apology

The service was good from driver Mr Makore and his co-driver communicated well with passengers

Time delays, no comfort, no airconditioners as promised only arrived in Joburg at 1200hrs

I took the bus to and from Johannesburg / Harare. Despite the bus being clean and well equipped, the bus from Johannesburg was 2 hours late. We were supposed to stop for 1 hour at Bosman Station, but we stopped for just above 1 hour 30 minutes. The bus came with a trailer, but it seemed like it was already carrying goods. There wasn't enough space for passengers bags, some had to carry bags on their laps. I encountered similar problems and concerns with both buses. Communication was made in Shona. The buses would just pull off at refreshment stops and boarders without checking if everyone was back on the bus. My friend and I were left behind at the boarder, we had to run after the bus, thank goodness for the boom gate.

Bought ticket to joburg and was put in a Cape Town bus. Joburg bus was full. But why let me buy a ticket when bus is full.

Journey didn’t happen as booked. Information on the booking ticket was incorrect. where to Board and Time of Departure was incorrect.

Very bad service, these guys sell tickets while they are closed for holidays.My wife was got the worse trip of her life

terrible . we waited at the border for 4 hrs, the drivers were not communicating. a lot was going on. wouldn't recommend it

I didn't enjoy anything, spending more than 24hrs on the bus. Boarded the bus at exactly 12pm but left Harare at around 4pm. The bus was stopping at almost ever bustop. The bus had a break down we had to stop in the middle of nowhere at midnight. As I am typing this we are still on the way between Messina and Louis. We don't even know how much more time we need to get to Joberg. Honestly speaking I am disappointed and I vow never to use this bus again.

The bus was 4 hours late to depart and mad so many unnecessary stops, also filling up the bus beyond the stipulated capacity.
