Dear Intercape Customer Service,
I am extremely disappointed with the service I received yesterday. I was waiting for over an hour at Union Street, Port Elizabeth Central, for the bus I had booked with Intercape. The bus that arrived was not branded with the Intercape name, so I had no way of knowing it was the one I was supposed to board.
When I called Intercape, I was informed that the bus had already left and that it was not branded as Intercape. This was very confusing and unacceptable, as passengers expect to identify the bus they are booked on. Without proper communication or signage, how was I supposed to know it was the correct bus?
As a result, I missed my trip and had to take my son to the taxi rank instead, which caused additional inconvenience. The R400.50 I paid for the ticket was completely wasted.
I am very disappointed with this experience and request urgent feedback, including clarification on how Intercape will address this matter and whether I will be refunded.
