We were at the bus stop 30 minutes before the bus needed to leave, as per our tickets, so at 22:00. Unfortunately the bus only arrived 1 hour and 30 minutes after its scheduled time and without any notice as to why. Many of the traveller's on the bus already complained that the bus only stopped ones since they got on at 20:30 that evening. The bus got to our stop at 0:05 that night. That was already the second red flag. Our first break was again in Mossel Bay and than again just after 5am that morning. Was the longest trip I ever took to Cape Town from Plettenberg Bay. The bus arrived in Cape Town at 9:00 where initially it should've been approximately 6:30. Just note, there were children and older people on the bus, so less stops to make up for the bus not being on time, now became the traveller's problem. It was Big Sky and not the Intercape bus I booked for the convenience of a bathroom on board and wifi. Not sure what's going on, but until today no feedback was received as to why the bus was so late or the bus was changed. Very unprofessional.

I was made to take a wrong bus simply because one of the staff personnel refused to check my ticket, just took me in and gave me an attitude …3 hours later he then realised that I was in a bus to East London instead of Capetown, I travelled for more than 12 hours sitting on the stairs coz I did not have a seat on the bus they ended up sending me to. Horrible experience I do not with it on anyone. I was cold , my bum was saw and I felt so embarrassed it was as though I had asked for a free ride

Very disappointing to say the least. The booking was made for 21h00, then I received a communication it will be delayed for 2hours,which is understandable. Only for the bus to actually arrive at 00h10 after midnight. Very bad service delivery.

Customer care service for Eagle Liner were not working. Phone numbers didnt work as well as their email adress.
Eventually a number worked. We had to contact them more than once. They didnt make an effort to call back. We arrived 3 hours late in Cape Town.

I enjoyed that as a night time ride, there wasn't too much noise. However, I couldn't get my seat to adjust so didn't get much sleep as sat upright the whole way. I am greatful that we arrived home safely.
