I didn’t enjoy the trip at all. Firstly the bus came late to pick us up. Secondly the bus kept on stopping on the side of the road for about 15 to 20 minutes without the driver explaining the reason to us. Thirdly the bus broke down just before mooi river plaza. We got delayed further more. Fourthly the bus that was the replacement had a very bad smell coming from the toilet. Just imagine sitting in the bus with a very bad smell for two hours. A real bad experience I had I must say. I was very disappointed with intercape. Very very disappointed.

The bus arrived at my pick up on time which was 08:05 at Big Bird Engen N1 South Midrand and when we reached Park Station we were told to get off and the bus took other passengers from there and left us who were going to Pinetown and Pietermaritzburg and we stood the till 10am waiting for another bus to come pick us up so that we will continue with our journey and we were so unhappy cause we booked an early bus so that we can arrive early I was so disappointed and unhappy I’ve never faced such a thing before.

The bus that take us from Midrand was excellent 👌. But the problem started when they take us to another bus saying to make things easier for them because they will go straight to their destination .we ended stranded in because the bus was broken on the road and other drivers were not willing to take us to Pinetown .was so disappointed 😞

My experience with Intercity Xpress wasn’t the best of trips, the bus we travelled in from Pretoria to Pinetown didn’t have a working aircon system. The bus was extremely hot, (45 mins in the trip) and apparently the bus had overheating issues. Making the trip even longer… driver had to drive slower than normal so we could make it to our destination.
