CATA Internacional Santiago Mendoza recent customer reviews
First of all, Terminal del Sur is perfectly safe. Just use common sense. The only challenge I had was locating the CATA booth to get my passport checked and ticket stamped. From thereon it was easy. The bus assistant was great and guided us through every step. Amazing trip over the Andes Mountains :)

It was a lovely clean bus. The driver was excellent. Immigration took a while but as to be expected, arrived an hour late due to this. Overall a great and reliable experience

Very good service during the trip, giving us the feeling of being well taken care of, especially through the customs on the border between Chile and Argentina. And the bus arrived on time in Mendoza - wonderful! A little difficult to find CATA Internacional at the bus station in Santiago and understand the check-in procedure, but once we found it, the staff was very service minded.
Users have highlighted the friendly and helpful staff, punctuality, and comfortable buses with ample legroom. The journey offers spectacular views, making it a recommended option for tourists. However, some users noted occasional maintenance-related bus changes that extended travel time slightly and mentioned the absence of WiFi on certain trips.
Ahumada Internacional Santiago Mendoza recent customer reviews
The bus was comfortable and left on time. The reason I didn't give 5 stars is because we were in the waiting room and no one came to call us for the bus. When we bought the ticket we were not told which terminal to wait at. So we were the last to board. Also, take your own toilet paper!

The service was excellent from everyone at Ahumada. The bus was very clean, and not very busy. The bus staff helped with the border crossing. Excellent.

This was the worst bus journey of my life. Simple as that. Sweaty bus with no space to recline or for your arms to relax. Journey that took 17 hours which was supposed to take maximum 8 hours. Spend an extra 20 dollars and fly instead
Passengers have shared positive experiences with the bus service, highlighting comfortable and clean seats, smooth rides, and friendly staff. The booking process was straightforward for many travelers. However, some noted challenges at border crossings between Chile and Argentina as well as issues with porters requesting tips multiple times when handling luggage.

The bus left only a few minutes later than expected and arrived about ten minutes late as a result of delays at the border. The bus itself was very comfortable and the staff were friendly and helpful.

The people at AndesMar gave me the wrong information and sent me to wait at the wrong platform and so I missed my bus. I had to buy a new bus ticket and got to my destination hours late.

Bus was good, as was the food and drink they kindly provided. They were very helpful at the boarder from Chile to Argentina. Only thing is that the buses don't actually say Coitram so was a little hard to find!

Andesmar/Tramat/El Rápido Internacional Santiago Mendoza recent customer reviews
The trip itself was fine. I had read some reviews before and thought the worst but the bus was as good as I remember the last time I was in South America 20 years earlier. I had trouble finding the bus company's ticket window going from Santiago de Chile to Mendoza because of all the names on the ticket but in the end it was Andesmar and the drivers were professional, the bus was clean and the view from the Andes, great. I'd recommend Andesmar. No movies shown and they over used the air conditioner but phone chargers worked.

I was a bit disappointed with the bus trip from Santiago to Mendoza. The boarding was not well communicated, and their was no indication we actually had to present ourselves to the Andesmar counter first, as all our booking info showed Tramat. Much better instructions about the boarding is really needed. The terminal itself is pretty crowded and this can make it stressful. We had the downstairs premium seats and these were comfortable. The ticket indicated TV and A/C were available. Not that I wanted it, but TV wasn't available, and the A/C only seemed to work part of the time. It got up to 28°C inside for the middle 2 hours of the trip. 2 hour immigration stop not much fun, but not the bus's fault. Didn't enjoy being hassled for tips numerous times on the trip, and also pretty disappointed to see the driver/attendant throwing their rubbish out the window as we were driving. The scenery was good, but I would definitely fly next time.

Loved the comfort of the bus. Email could have been more helpful by telling us we needed to check in to get physical tickets from the Andemar kiosk before travelling.
