The trip itself was fine. I had read some reviews before and thought the worst but the bus was as good as I remember the last time I was in South America 20 years earlier. I had trouble finding the bus company's ticket window going from Santiago de Chile to Mendoza because of all the names on the ticket but in the end it was Andesmar and the drivers were professional, the bus was clean and the view from the Andes, great. I'd recommend Andesmar. No movies shown and they over used the air conditioner but phone chargers worked.

The bus was cancelled and we were not informed beforehand. There were no more buses for at least 3 more days so we ended up stuck with no options.
