We were due to arrive at 1:50pm - it is now 5:50pm and we are still 1hr away from El Calafate. We will arrive more than 6 hours later. We had to cancel our transfer to El Chalten today, which of course was not fully refundable. Our driver said that delays like this are usual. There is no apology or explanation for the delays and the border crossing was extremely slow and frustrating.

I paid for wifi within the first 10 minutes and it worked for 5 minutes and then turned off. I asked the bus attendant and he said maybe it will come back soon. It never did. Very frustrating. The toilet also did not flush. It was also unclear that we had to check in at the counter in person before entering the bus which made a stressful situation when we were last and could not enter until we went inside to the desk, waited in line, and then could enter the bus even though we had our tickets
