I love the fact that they had calculated their stops for us to be refreshed and they the drivers were very patient with the passengers and they were very much friendly, the route to cape Town via Bloemfontein is very straight forward and the drivers were able to keep to the scheduled time that is what I loved about the trip, what I didn’t like was the state of the bus, the bus was not as comfortable as other buses whereby we are able to sleep and be comfortable.

was a safe trip, drivers are really good drivers. The bus down to Cape town did not have power points to charge phones etc. the bus back to Grahamstown, had charging USB that was helpful, but the bus was infested with cockroaches, a few cockroaches crawled over me while sleeping they were running everywhere, please get rid of them it is not a good sign. No toilet paper in loo was weird or is this normal? If normal just warn passengers to bring their own toilet paper.

What I didn't appreciate was the fact that the bus arrived late at the pickup station and then we were delayed even more when the bus broke down for several hours resulting in me being late to my accommodation.

Very disappointed bus was to arrive at 5:25pm guess what it got to Durban @ 19:05 and I missed my bus return to Johannesburg 😭 what happened to serving drinks inside the bus?

It was horrible! Somewhere at night in the middle of the street they stopped and picked up a traveller. We travelled on a narrow road that was full of potholes! - NOT a highway or main road I might add. People were listening without earphones or headphones to their Tiktoks and whatever else...and at 02h00am the driver played music on his phone until just before 05h00! I asked him to please use earphones, and he answered in Xhosa that I should wear earphones and ignored ME! Minutes after I got off the bus, I realized that I forgot my black Volcano headphones on the bus, but it had allready left. I tried to contact GREYHOUND, several times, but was unable to do so telephonically, or else I would've been able to get my headphones back! I will NOT use Greyhound ever again for ANY trip. At least one is able to contact Intercape when something goes wrong.
