Bus from Puerto Varas to San Carlos de Bariloche: Tickets & Schedules

almost an hour late, dirty seats, heating so high almost suffocated, baggage boy demanding tips

bus was 40 min late in arriving. puerto varas stop was strangely along the highway. we arrived on bariloche past 10pm. seats were comfortable.

Great but the windows mistress up and it was hard to see the wonderful view. Driver and conductor were excellent, attentive and have clear advice

The day od travel the weather was bad - it poured rain almost all day way through to Bariloche. All front seats at the upper deck were affected with water dripping from everywhere onto the passengers. The staff when notified, tried to prove that if one sits in a certain position, will not be affected by water - ridiculous, especially on a 7+ hours ride. It was also very cold on the bus but even when the staff was asked to put the heating on, that was not done.

Great service, we arrived late but it's a border crossing so I was expecting that. Snacks and coffee were served, seats were comfortable leather and sir conditioning worked great. I was super impressed.

Bus left Puerto Varas late without warning, address of bus stop was slightly different to where the bus pick up was (but it was just down the street and the locals knew where to wait). Other than that the bus ride was fine, some snacks were handed out during the ride, and the driver and conductor were patient with us when we had some passport issue at the border customs.
