Det var måske meget naivt, at tro på, at Flixbus kunne køre turen fra Kyiv til Warszawa på 10 timer!

Når man køber billet, får Flixbus det til at se ud som om, at de kan køre strækningen Kyiv- Warszawa fra 18pm til 6.05am, hvor andre selskaber bruger fra 18-20timer.
Og det var da også, hvad turen kom til at vare. Afgang 22PM og ankomst til Chopin lufthavn 15pm = 18 timer.
Det kunne måske lade sig gøre i fredstid, men ikke i krigstid, hvor køerne er længere, busser og passager tjekkes ved både den ukrainske og den polske grænsekontrol meget grundigt.
Derudover startede turen med 165 min forsinket, hvilket først blev oplyst 1 time før afgang. Det må man kunne have varslet i bedre tid, så passagerne ikke skulle stå og vente på bus stationen.
Af den grund mistede jeg mit fly ud af Warszawa, som jeg selvfølgelig håber bliver refunderet af Flixbus.
Nu har jeg talt med flere tidligere passagere, og de fortæller mig, at det er helt “normalt”, at Flixbus konsekvent sælger deres billetter på den måde, og de åbenbart også berygtede for aldrig at ankomme til tiden.
Jeg undrer mig over, at man ikke hæger mere om sit omdømme?
Positiv for turen var, at der var god benplads (XL-seats), pænt og rent toilet og stor ros til chaufførerne, som var yderst hjælpsomme med bagagen og ved Security ved grænserne.

It took me 20 hours to get to the Chopin Airport from Kyiv. There was a change of busses by mistake, they asked me to go to one bus with all of my belongings and then turned out that I had to go back to the first bus. The border took 3 hours. Then we got to Poland and waited for another 1,5 hours for another driver to come and change the driver. The bus is outdated but still functioning. I just don’t understand why there was so much work.

I reserved a bus with several services on board, but not found on the bus. I should change the bus to Rivne. No WiFi in Ukraine, no snacks, no WC (as declared on reservation form). No one speaking English... only Google Translator.

I understand the border can be problematic but the bus was also very late to Kyiv. Staff were slow which didn't help to make up time. I scheduled 9 hours from arrival time to my flight time and will very likely miss my flight so am very unhappy

Compared to 11 days ago when I took an Ecolines bus from Warsaw to Kyiv, this trip was excellent and pleasantly without incident. This time the air conditioning and WiFi worked (although quite slow and useless at times), as did the coffee machine. As opposed to last time, this time not only were the drivers courteous and helpful, but they were skillful, safe and didn’t waste any time on the road. As a result, we arrived in Warsaw almost an hour early (in spite of a 3-hour wait to get through both sides of the border).
