Intercity Xpress Durban Lenasia South recent customer reviews
I am writing to formally lodge a complaint regarding the extremely poor and unsafe service I experienced on my recent trip from Durban to Lenasia.
From the start of the journey, the air conditioning on the bus was excessively cold. I was travelling with a child, and we repeatedly informed the driver that the temperature was too cold and that we were unable to sleep. Despite raising this issue several times, the driver did nothing to assist us or adjust the air conditioning.
In addition to this, there was a very concerning incident at one of the garage stops. Two teenagers got off the bus during the stop, and the driver left them behind because he said they had taken too long. When passengers informed him that some people were missing, he responded by saying that he had told them they only had five minutes and then continued driving, leaving them at the garage. This was extremely irresponsible and dangerous. Those teenagers later managed to rejoin the bus after approximately two hours or more, which could have ended very badly.
Furthermore, we were supposed to be dropped off in Lenasia, but the bus went straight to Johannesburg Park Station. When we questioned the driver, he claimed that he was not informed about Lenasia and said that he was not going there. He then rudely called us to the front of the bus and demanded that we direct him to Lenasia. What made this even more frustrating is that he then proceeded to drive directly to Lenasia, clearly knowing the route.
Throughout the journey, the driver’s attitude was rude, unprofessional, and disrespectful. He did not know how to speak to passengers and caused unnecessary stress and discomfort, especially considering that there were children and teenagers travelling on the bus.
This experience was extremely disappointing and far below the standard of service I expect from Intercity Xpress. Passenger safety, communication, and basic respect were clearly neglected on this trip.

Intercape Mainliner Durban Lenasia South recent customer reviews
The journey was ok, however, the delays i have been encountering in my 2 consecutive trips due to passengers who are drunk . such incidents makes us late as some of us are already going to work on the same day. perhaps if passengers will know about such laws prior booking the bus tickets.

Terrible service. Booked the INTERCAPE MAINLINER from 07:30am to 16:15pm and the bus broke down few hours after departure. Well over 12 hours we sat without any help. These vehicles operate on a daily route. The service and maintenance of these vehicles should be a priority since they carry lives daily. Terrible inconvenience.
