Balut receives praise for its comfortable buses and friendly staff, with many users noting punctual departures. However, some passengers experienced issues such as discrepancies in seat assignments and additional luggage charges. There were also reports of limited communication from drivers and occasional maintenance concerns like non-functioning toilets or broken seats.

After reading the previous reviews I was apprehensive about going with Balut but everything went well the only problem we could have encountered was when we booked with busbyd we chose the front window seats but on the ticket we received the seat numbers were not listed but we did sit where we wanted but were worried someone else had our numbers

The ticket was supposed to included a checked bag, but I was asked to pay at BOTH ends of the trip. And the bus was too hot. The driving was good, though

They didn't want to let us on the bus because we paid with the app and not at the terminal.

It was easy to find the bus station, we left (almost) on time, and the seats were fine. The only thing we didn't like was that we chose our seats ahead of time but got assigned random seats anyways. They also charged us (twice) for luggage storage on the bus.
