Choose this company to avoid moving my luggage so much. But at the border we had to carry luggage through. At Puno again we had a 90minute wait with luggage. My suitcase is so big I couldn't close the bathroom door. Temperature range on all 3 steps was wildly changeable.

Firstly we were put on the wrong bus to Copacabana.
Then put on bus which we thought went to Arequipa, but were put on 2 tuk tuk to transfer across Bolivia Peru border then 45 minute wait for Vigo bus which we thought only went to Arequipa.This was a poor quality bus compared to any we have had in Peru.
On arrival at Arequipa major job getting baggage out of the bus as it was going to Lima and our baggage was near the back.

It wasn't good. At first, we took a minibus (which was not informed in advance) from La Paz to the Peruvian border. We left an hour late. We had to walk across the border (vs. when we came to Bolivia, we only stepped out from the bus for passport control). The seats were old and hard to sit on. There wasn’t enough room for legs (had to keep them on the aisle). People were smoking in the lavatory and in the bus (yes, u read it right!). The toilet was ancient and smelled absolutely horrible. Cherry on the top, we arrived at Arequipa over 2 hours late.

We arrived 7hrs later than the foreseen time of arrival. We stopped frequently along the road, we stopped for 2hrs because of a roadblock, there were technical issues with the bus so we needed tot change to another bus but had to wait for 2 hours to get on the other bus. Then we also stopped frequently and unnecessarily long… we arrived at 2h30 am instead of 7h30 pm
