Bus Tickets from Rio de Janeiro to São Paulo

Timely departure. But late arrival. Unnecessary Questions, felt like an interrogation. Helpful driver though, throughout. Not clear signs at the station of here the bus stops. Should have some screens with departure gate/ platform

This trip could have been way better if it wasn't for the delayed 1 hour before departing then a 2 hour stop because of roadworks. I almost missed my plane. Anxiety through the roof

Sou belga. Comprei minha passagem de ônibus com minha carteira de motorista belga. Eu estava com ela. O motorista não me deixou embarcar. Então, mostrei a ele meu passaporte belga, que eu tinha no celular. Mesmo assim, ele não me deixou embarcar, alegando que eu precisava absolutamente do meu passaporte ou documento de identidade. Ele então nos pediu para irmos para o lado. Entre as pessoas que embarcaram depois de nós, muitas também tinham apenas uma foto do passaporte, mas o motorista as deixou embarcar sem problemas. Tivemos que ligar para a gerente, que obviamente não viu problema em usar sua carteira de motorista, que é um documento oficial emitido pelo estado e válido para Itaperim, já que é permitido às pessoas comprarem suas passagens de ônibus com a carteira de motorista. Isso tornou a viagem muito ruim, pois o motorista foi desagradável o tempo todo. Este era o motorista da viagem Rio -> São Paulo no domingo, 10 de agosto de 2025, com partida às 14h30 (plataforma 21 E 22). Informe seus motoristas porque isso dá uma imagem muito ruim da empresa, pessoalmente eu não recomendaria Itaperim para isso.

The bus arrived late and instead of departing at 9am. We left at 10:25. The 10am bus left before us!!

I enjoyed the comfort if the that reclined as a full flat bed. Checkin and boarding were smooth. Air conditionning was high but I anticipated this and weared a sweat shirt. It was a night trip and I coud only partially sleep because of the noise from the air conditionning and the bus but globally I enjoyed the trip.

The bus left on time (just 5 minutes later than scheduled) and arrived 20 minutes later than expected, but there were a lot of construction along the highway

AC was blasting even though the outside temp was 18 degrees. Left Rio at 1:30pm and arrived in SP at 11:45pm almost four hours late due to traffic.

very good. i was late and reschedule was easy and quick. the seat was comfortable too

Otherwise all good, but when we had the stop it would have been nice if the driver would have given us some unformation about the time of the stop

Very comfortable bus, on time but please, stop with the air conditioning! It was so so so cold I couldn't sleep I was frozen.

I was over 2 hours late and missed my flight which has cost me a further 3500 Brazilian reals plus I have missed work. A tough pill to swallow.

I was very dissatisfied. We had over a 2 hour stoppage that we have no idea why. It caused us to miss our connecting bus to Tatui.

Easy storage and good security for checked baggage. Long journey but enjoyable due to comfy seats. Love how boarding procedures are so systematic and that bus arrived and departed on time.

Terrible. Bus broke down. Took about one hour to replace that bus. Hardly no communication to the customers with updates.

How cold is cold enough? It wasn't even warm outside and they turned up the AC to the maximum. People were sitting there with jackets and blankets, and I'm talking about locals.

The bus was delayed 3 hours. I almost missed the plane The traffic jam was not the bus company's fault, but I wish they had informed me in advance.

Horrible, no way to contact with the driver in anyway, we were stuck in traffic for more than 2 hours and couldn't contact the driver to make some improvise, many people were going to the airport for a flight, didn't make a stop in the middle. Horrible experience

Bus broke down and needed to spend 75 reals on an uber to get to my flight on time.

The Bus arriver 2,5h late. He departed 45 min late and was then driving so slow that we summed up to 2,5 h.

The journey was horrendous. First of all when we arrived at the bus station there was no information on any of the boards as to where the bus departs, none of the station staff were able to tell us where the bus departed so we were running around asking people until we eventually found people getting the same bus…Not that we would have missed it because it arrived 40 minutes late. We then proceeded to lose more and more time over the journey, with the driver stopping for 30minutes despite the delay. There was very little traffic and we arrived over 2 hours late. This caused us to be late to the airport and almost miss our flight. My partners seat on the bus was also broken so it moved all the way back whenever he rested on it. There was also no wifi on the bus as advertised. Do not use flixbus.

Very helpful with luggage and even allowed me to take a second suit case free of charge.The driver was careful but efficient.Seat was very comfortable with plenty of room to stretch my legs which was very helpful as I have been struggling with archilles tendinitis

Everything was perfect, except the bus arrived 15 minutes late and we left 30 minutes late.

Perfection Even if it’s always too cold during the trip and we arrived a bit late. (One hour or so) But considering the traffic it was ok. Very nice staff and comfortable for the price

Bus arrived 2.5 hours late, was over 3 hours late by the time it set off. Service was overbooked and we almost ended up not being able to get on, many people didn’t. Seats double booked. Bus itself was ok

On time. Prompt. Relatively comfortable. Slightly limited room, but otherwise a good overnight option

The guy loading my bag onto the bus stole my stuff whilst I was on the bus. Watch your bag
