Bus from Istanbul Europe to Tirana: Tickets & Timetables

Great experience, on time for departure. Arrived in Tirana at 4:45am (earlier than scheduled) but wasn’t an issue

The trip was ok. The border crossings were handled professionally and efficiently by the driver and other employees. Unfortunately, however, the bus arrived 3.5 hours early, leaving me alone in a strange city at the bus station at 3:30 am, with no local currency. Honestly, this wouldn't have been a big problem if not for the response of the local ticket counter worker who verbally abused and humiliated me when I simply asked about the discrepancy on the ticket and asked where the nearest ATM might be. I couldn't have been nicer to that guy with my questions, and I was absolutely stunned his reaction. In the following half hour that I waited in the area for help, I watched him act over-the-top friendly with any men who asked for his help, but was antagonistic towards another solo female travel when she tried to speak to him as well. When the rest of the passengers had cleared the area, I left, alone and afraid, in the dark, not wanting to be near this man. This was my experience.
