The reviews highlight the positive aspects of being on schedule for departure and arrival, with smooth and comfortable trips. Additionally, customers appreciate the cleanliness and punctuality of the service.
We recently traveled with Rede Expressos, and while the buses themselves were comfortable and the air conditioning worked well, our overall experience was disappointing.
Unfortunately, both our outbound and return journeys were significantly delayed. The departure and arrival times were off schedule in both directions. Most notably, our bus from Lisbon to Quarteira arrived 40 minutes late, with no clear communication or apology from the company.
Punctuality is essential for travelers, and these delays caused a lot of frustration.
Because of this, we won’t be using Rede Expressos again.

No air conditioning, the bus was uncomfortable and the seatings were very loose (when the driver accelerated they moved backwards). We had to change busses on the last few minutes and arrived much later than supposed.

The trip was great until we tried to retrieve our luggage. The driver was angry & rude because we hadn’t understood his direction in Portuguese on where to put our bags. He stood there yelling at us as we moved other bags to get ours out. Certainly left an unfortunate impression of your service.

O autocarro saiu no horário na Estação do Oriente, mas o autocarro seguiu para Quarteira depois de ter esperado 50 minutos na estação de Sete Rios.

This time everything went well. However, last time I used Renex bus from Quarteira to Lisbon aiming to the airport the driver did not tell me that I need to change bus in Albufeira. For some reason he took his time to check my ticket to Lisbon but did not say anything. During the trip I concentrated on reading a book and did not pay attention that the bus did not take the highway route. After a couple of hours I looked out of the bus window and noticed that the bus was still far away from Lisbon. I went to ask the driver when are we arriving in Lisbon Oriente. The co-driver answered that this bus is not heading for Oriente but instead to Sete Rios and half an hour prior to the scheduled time of departure of my fight. Luckily it was late at night. I took a taxi and managed to check in 15 minutes before the departure of the flight. I expect better customer service from the drivers! So many passengers are not locals.

Transfer from Albufeira didnt work. Second bus was different colour and it left from different platform as we have told by our driver. So we missed connection and need to take taxi to Quarteira.
