The driver didn’t want to let me on the bus even though I had a valid ticket, the correct departure time and the correct destination. It was the last bus going to Lisbon from Evora and because his bus number was 98, and the bus number on my ticket was 84, he wouldn’t let me on. Even though the bus wasn’t even at capacity. There were many available seats. Luckily a kind woman stepped in and convinced him to let me on right before he was about to leave. The issue with the ticket is outrageous and should never happen. The driver was rude and unaccommodating. The incident felt racially motivated because he wasn’t even checking everyone else’s tickets. Only mine.

It was not Rede Expressos - it was Evora bus station that made the problem by not selling tickets for bicycles in the luggage department. This is common practice in every other bus station we've been to, but not in Evora - therefore it was a big problem to get our bicycle on a bus, despite the fact that there was ubundante room in the luggage area of every bus.
