Greyhound Burlington Toronto recent customer reviews
No driver or bus available at Burlington for our scheduled 3.30pm departure. Eventually we are put on a busy at 9.30 pm for first keg to Montreal. We then walked straight to a bus leaving for Ottawa but our tickets were not scheduled for this trip. The driver was very accommodating and had room so took us anyway. We arrived at Ottawa at 2.30 am with no further buses leaving for Toronto until 7.00am. It was fully booked and we did not have tickets scheduled for this service. The attendant put us on priority stand by, and we did not know if we would get a ride or not . We were forced to wait and sleep at the bus depot that night/ morning. 7.00am bus came and left without us as no room. The 9.30am bus arrived and we still only had stand by tickets as we were well and truely off schedule now . The bus driver listened to our story. We had to vertually demand a ride as we were already late for the first day of a pre booked tour out of Toronto that morning. The driver was so good, he backed his bus out and drive back in with a bus with more seats. We eventually arrived at Toronto at 3.30 pm not 6.00am as scheduled. Greyhound buses emailed me with changes and to call them urgently but we were told to leave it up to the individual staff at the depots. We ended up clearly tired and distressed from the ordeal. We joined our tour late eventually probably too numb to enjoy it. I have called Greyhound customer service and I received a normal premeditated response which fell well below my expectations. Just because we eventually arrived at our destination does not over ride the fact that the first leg of our journey we were left with no bus or driver for 6.00 hours and there after our fully paid for tickets were worthless. We had to sleep in the Ottawa bus depot at 2.30am with no where to go. And the last leg to Toronto the bus had no wifi . I don’t think my wife or myself will ever travel on Greyhound ever again,

3-leg trip from Burlington, VT to Toronto, OR via Montreal and Ottawa. The bust departed over an hour late from Burlington because there was no driver. When he arrived, he took a while to get going and announced he did not know the way... Missed the connection in Montreal and Greyhound staff did not give me any clear information whether I could get on the next bus, and whether I would reach my next connection. I did in the end, but they could me much clearer in their information.
