Got the bottom floor, was very spacious. With an overnight bus that started at 9pm from Sao Paulo and arrived at 4pm Foz De Iguacu, went well, stopped many times for bathroom, 1 time for a 20 minute mid morning food break. AC worked well, had a few snacks on board. Pillow and blanket provided. Bathroom on board worked well, just needed to bring your own toilet paper. Overall good experience.

This was my first time taking a bus in brasil, and I am still learning Portuguese. So I don’t understand a lot of the signs and all the announcements are also in Portuguese which is understandable as that is the language of the country. I had to ask the clerk to speak slower so I could understand and she had an attitude. The clerks that I dealt with didn’t seem too friendly or empathetic to a person who isn’t brasilian and not fluent in Portuguese. Since it is a bus station, they should understand there will be travelers from other countries who may not always be fluent in Portuguese. I am still learning and studying the language. So this made me feel unwelcome.
