The return journey was a disaster. Due to a breakdown another bus had to be sent to the terminal and we were delayed for one hour and twenty minutes. We were not told of this imminent delay although the breakdown of the original vehicle happened a 4.40 in the afternoon information I obtained from our final driver. The driver who did arrive was rude and non communicative with passengers failing to tell us that we would be required to change coaches at Chrsterfeld. The heating on the coach was registering 10C and when I asked him about this since it was cold and he was driving with his window open he replied don’t look at that the thing doesn’t work anyway. This was not surprising because the replacement coach was old and he issued to safety instructions or warning about smoking or alcohol in take to passengers, I was seated at the front and I can assure you his driving was apalling. He drove at speed including going through areas designated 50 mph and 60 plus, undertaking vehicles and then bring in the fast lane and on one occasion overtook four Vehicles. On the other hand the driver who took over At Chesterfield was courteous professional and apologetic for the delays. I eventually arrived at my destination one hour late. This was a distressing experience and I think there should be a refund for this part of the journey. Many passengers were disgusted st the attitude of the driver whom they felt and expressed verbally. That he just did not care. This reprehensible in the extreme and would make me hesitate to use this service again. I will be very interested to see if you take this complaint seriously. Yours sincerely Kenneth Jefferson (Rev.). By the way I am not a serial complainer this was just a bad experience and I await your reply. The service number was the 560 London to Barnsley

Great experience however the bus was freezing. Everyone had at least a jumper or two on even though it was an extremely warm summers day outside
